We are excited to launch our target line of bullets with the introduction of the .308 166gr designed to maximize the potential of rifles sporting a 1:10" twist! The target line employs the same patent pending geometry as our flagship Afterburner hunting bullets resulting in improved accuracy and reduced bore friction, heating, and fouling. This proves even more critical for target bullets where shot count can climb high in a short amount of time.
At a velocity range from 2900-3000 fps, the 166gr produced a G7 ballistic coefficient of .293, higher than most competitive offerings in the 175gr - 205gr class. With the lighter weight and lower bore friction allowing extremely high muzzle velocities, time to target is significantly reduced and supersonic flight maintained at greater distances.
