30-06 velocity testing 135 Afterburner

Posting here some initial velocity testing for the 135 afterburner. Results were faster than expected when compared to similar weight bullets There were no signs of pressure, and although I'm not really one to push the limits, I'd bet there's room for more speed from this bullet. For myself, my desired velocity was 3200fps. Regardless, it's getting too late in the season here for further load development, so next step I'll load several rounds at 54 grains and see what the hogs think about it.

Neil,

Looking forward to some results on hogs! That 135gr is such a great little bullet to work with. Easy at the loading bench with the shorter tail, easy on the shoulder, slick in the air, and heavy on the business end.
